Cardiovascular / Peripheral Vascular Support Group Offers Presentation on “Mission Nutrition”

Hudson, FL - Dietetic Intern, Brooke Castelamare is the featured speaker for the Heart 2 Heart (Cardiovascular- Peripheral Vascular ) Support Group upcoming lecture on “Mission Nutrition.”
Ms. Castelamare will be discussing eating for a healthy heart. Those who attend will learn eating habits to help prevent and treat heart disease. The different types of fats and cholesterol, sodium, and fiber will be explained along with which are the most beneficial foods to include in the diet and which to limit. Food label reading, recipe modification, and food shopping will be discussed. Handouts will be provided to take home for reference.
This presentation will take place at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Rao Musunuru, MD Conference Center, 14000 Fivay Road, in Hudson, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 3:30 p.m
