Orthopedic Surgeon, Craig Bennett, M.D. is the featured speaker for an upcoming lecture on “Treatment for Acute Thoracic and Lumbar Fractures.”
Hudson, FL - Compression fracture of the vertebral body is common, especially in older adults. Vertebral compression fractures usually are caused by osteoporosis, and range from mild to severe. Dr. Bennett will be discussing how to prevent compression fractures by diagnosing and treating predisposing factors, identifying high-risk patients, and educating patients and the public about measures to prevent falls and current treatments available.
This presentation is sponsored by Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and will take place at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Conference Center, 14000 Fivay Road, in Hudson, on Wednesday, October 19 at 3:00PM.
