Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Announces Its Star Award Winners for the First Quarter of 2010
Hudson, FL Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point has announced the recipients of its first quarter Five Star Award. The recipients are Alba Hada and Shirley Stibal.
Alba Hada began volunteering in September of 2008. She has logged in over 850 hours. Ms. Hada volunteers at the hospitals Welcome Center A. She has a reputation for beginning her volunteer shift well before start time in case people need help. She is known to treat all visitors that come to her desk or who are on the phone with kindness and a sense of humor. She also is quick to substitute for other volunteers when there is a need even if they call her at 7 am to be at her post by 8 am. Ms. Hada has a reputation for getting along with everyone. She sets an example of dedication to the hospitals visitors, the hospital, and the entire volunteer organization.
Shirley Stibal began volunteering at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in 1988. She is an area snowbird but has still volunteered over 3,300 hours. Shirley has been a Courier for over 20 years and is totally familiar with every nook and cranny of the hospital campus. Ms. Stibal is called upon in particular to train new volunteers. She is good at setting an example of dedication and kindness.
Also honored was Ann Donahue for a 1 Star Achievement Award. Ms. Donahue began volunteering in 2008 and has logged in over 650 hours. She also volunteers at Welcome Center A, as a Courier, and recently started volunteering in the volunteer office. She is known for her pleasantness to visitors and staff and is exceptional in her duties. Anns chairperson is quoted as saying, Ann is just a lovely person and a welcome addition to the volunteer organization.
Ray Jablonski began volunteering in 1990. Even though he is a snowbird he has logged in over 3,660 hours. He is known for his friendly and smiling face and his willingness to help visitors any way he can.
