In an awards ceremony held on Friday, January 30 the hospital announced that Shae Jungkas, is the third winner of this annual award.
Accordingly to staff, peers, patients and visitors, Shae is consistent, dependable and accurate in carrying out her responsibilities in an ever-changing nursing environment. The quality of her work is outstanding and she believes that quality provides the competitive edge. Because patient care and advocacy is her primary focus, she realizes that in order to provide optimal care to all our patients, it is imperative that all members of the health care team work together in a spirit of harmony and cooperation. Shae is a preceptor to our new employees and a mentor to her peers. In appreciation for the care, empathy, and positive patient outcomes, Shae has received many letters of commendation from patients. She is poised and polished and always conducts herself with a quiet grace that is definitely admirable. Shae has the ability to perform a wide range of assignments with efficiency and accuracy.
As part of the presentation, Shae was acknowledged for her versatile expertise which enables her to handle concurrent assignments with ease. She was commended for developing a strong camaraderie among nurses in the units and recognized for promoting spirited technical teamwork. She works exceptionally well with all the departments within the facility. Shae excels in developing harmony and greater productivity and demonstrates a willingness to give anyone a helping hand and does it with grace and style. Congratulations and hats off to our 2008 Employee of the Year, Shae Jungkans from SCU.
The RMCBP Rewards and Recognition Team reviewed the nominations from the 2008 Quarterly Excellence winners and then selected one employee who best exemplifies employee excellence. This years winner received a gift catalog, Employee of the Year lapel pin, a special parking pass and other acknowledgements.
