Hudson, FL (May 22, 2008) - Plans are underway for the 14th Annual Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Golf Tournament. The Swing For Charity tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2008, at Southern Hills Plantation, located off U.S. 41 in Brooksville.
This is another fine example of a local business extending itself to help the Pasco community and those in need. Last year, with the help of the hospital and community, over $1.6 million was raised to support the United Way of Pasco, explained Susan Arnett, President of the United Way of Pasco.
The Golf Tournament is formatted for foursomes and is set for a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Corporate sponsorships are available with levels including foursome fees, hole signage, refreshments, lunch, dinner and eligibility for a variety of prizes.
Most of our members of the Golf Tournament committee at the hospital are golf enthusiasts and know what it takes to make for a great day on the golf course! exclaimed Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Tournament Chairman, Steven Goldstein.
All proceeds from the golf tournament are directed back to the United Way of Pasco, which funds 24 partner agencies.
