The Heart Institute at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Introduces New “Life After Stroke Support Group”
Hudson, FL. On Wednesday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. the Life After Stroke Support Group meeting will take place at the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Conference Center located on the campus of the hospital at 14000 Fivay Road in Hudson.
The support group kick-off will feature a “Let’s Get Aquainted” agenada. Our featured speaker is Dawn M Carroll RN,MS, Director of Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Please be sure to join us for our first stroke support group meeting to learn more about Stroke and living a healthier lifestyle. “Time lost is Brain Lost”
The goal of this support group is to provide interactive support by providing awareness and education for stroke survivors and their families. Preventing a second stroke is the first step toward leading a healthy post -stroke life style. Information and valuable resources will be provided as well as a discussion on future topics. The group will meet the first Wednesday of every month at 2 pm in the Conference Center.
