Physician Offers Presentation on Internal Cardiac Defibrillators

Hudson, FL (April 22, 2009) - Board Certified Electrophysiologist, Kenneth Yamamura, M.D. will be presenting a program Entitled: “Everything You Wanted to Know about Your ICD and More” at the regular meeting of the Internal Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) Support Group.

Research shows that ICDs provide an invaluable form of life insurance for people most at risk. Evidence-based medicine has demonstrated that ICDs significantly reduce death among Americans at highest risk.

Anyone that has an internal cardiac defibrillator or would like to know more about ICDs’ is encouraged to attend the presentation. You do not need to be a member of the ICD Support Group to attend the presentation. This presentation is sponsored by The Heart Institute at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and will take place at the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Conference Center, 14000 Fivay Road, in Hudson, on Wednesday, May 27 at 5:30 p.m.
