Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Honors Colleagues of the Quarter, Service Award Recipients

Hudson, Florida (August 4, 2009) – Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point has announced the 2009 2nd Quarter recipients of its Colleague Excellence Awards, From the Heart Awards and Service Awards.

Linda McAdoo and Steve Rector, CEOColleague Excellence Awards are given in recognition of outstanding customer service and performance. Recipients for the 2009, 2nd Quarter are; Jackie Butler, RN of the Cardiovascular OR; Phyllis Haack, C.N.A. of Medical Oncology and Linda McAdoo from Food & Nutritional Services.

From the Heart Recipients are recognized for their demonstration of customer service and for being those who truly go above and beyond to demonstrate their dedication to customer focused services. “From the Heart” is the way we recognize our employees for their demonstration of Customer Service. These are the people we see everyday going the extra mile to not only meet but to exceed the needs of their co-workers, patients, physicians and community. The individuals selected were recognized by their peers as having demonstrated outstanding customer service. The Rewards and Recognition Team have selected the nominees as being those who have truly gone above and beyond to demonstrate their dedication to customer focused services.

The 2nd Quarter recipients were Vangi Pagulayan from PACU and Marianne Vigilis from the Marketing/Volunteer Department. Each received a gift catalog to select a gift of their choice.

Recognized for 5 years of service were Cyndy Maksymkow and Liz Rauckhorst both from Brooks Rehab; Christine Sapone from Medical Telemetry; Debra Brandt, Donna Dunham and Kerri Kaminski all from the Spine Center; Dawn Aul from the Cardiac Surgical Step-Down Unit; Roy Lyons, Jr. from the Lab; Jack Long from Pastoral Care Services; Dianne Edwards and Tomas Martinkovic, both from Food and Nutritional Services; Timothy Wallace, from the Emergency Department; Kristine Davis from Sterile Processing and John Crawford and Wayne Keene, both the Surgery Department.

Recognized for 10 years of service were Elizabeth Cannon the Emergency Department; Donna Santine from the Medical Oncology; Christine Johansen from Administration; Margaret Payne from the Surgical Intensive Care Unit; Sherilyn Daun from the Special Care Unit and Dawayne Johnson from Plant Operations.

Recognized for 15 years of service were Sharon Kuhar from PAS; Marcia Hanshaw from the Surgical Intensive Care Unit; Carol Bialkoski from Special Care Unit and Patricia Rosenberger from Food and Nutritional Services.

Celebrating 25 years of service was Susan Smith from the Surgery Department.

Each colleague was recognized at a reception on Thursday, July 30, 2009 and rewarded with a gift certificate and other acknowledgments, respective to the years of service to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.

The Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Volunteer Organization also selected award winners at the reception.
