HUDSON, FL (April 18, 2008) -- Colleagues from Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point participated in National Start! Walking Day. The event is a nationwide call-to-action for Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Led by CEO Steve Rector, Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point employees joined thousands across the nation as they wore their sneakers to work on April 16, 2008, and pledged to start a healthier lifestyle as part of this annual event. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer in the U.S. and physical inactivity doubles the risk. RMCBP employees Start!ed walking and started reducing their risk on this day.
