Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Conducts Back Pack Program to Assist Children In Need Within Its Facility As Well As In the Area

Hudson, FL – Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point recently wrapped up its annual Back Pack program designed to assist the families in need within its facility as well as in the local area.
This year Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point’s Back Pack committee collected enough funds and materials to distribute 120 back packs to families in and out of the facility. In addition to the back packs, 16 boxes of school supplies were distributed to area schools. This year’s committee consisted of Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point’s chaplain, Jack Long, Elaine Snee, Johnnie Keegan, Helen Machie, Marianne Vigilis, Steve Goldstein and Glen Baker. In addition, Environmental Services supervisors Linda, Martha, Sharon, and Tina also helped to share the load.
In making his report to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point staff, Rev. Jack Long said, “How pleased we are to work and serve with such a caring group of staff, employees, and volunteers…Thank you for your leadership and help in this important project and thanks from the children.”
